Spring EXPLORE
Spring EXPLORE classes are starting January 26, 2026! Juniper will offer a variety of fun after school classes for TK through 5th grade. An Interest Form and informational flyer will be sent home with every student on December 15. If your child is interested, please complete the form and return it to your child’s teacher or the front office as soon as possible, as space is limited. The last day to turn in forms is December 19. Students will be notified in January about which class or classes they are enrolled in.
School Site Council
Our School Site Council will meet on Dec. 8 at 2:45. The School Site Council is a group of parents, staff, and community members who work together to support our school’s academic program and help decide how certain funds are used. Their collaboration ensures that our school continues to grow and meet the needs of all students. We hope you can join us.
Santa Grams
Santa Grams go on sale Dec. 8 for $1.25. Each Santa Gram comes with a candy cane, making it a fun and simple way to surprise a friend.
PTA Penguin Patch
PTA Penguin Patch starts Dec. 8. This is a special holiday shop where students can browse and purchase small gifts for family and friends. It gives them a fun chance to choose something on their own while learning about budgeting and giving. Families will receive more information as the start date gets closer.
Christmas Musical Performance
The families of our After School EXPLORE musical classes are invited to the Christmas Musical Performance on Dec. 10 at 6 pm. Our students have been working hard to bring this special performance to life, and we can’t wait for you to see it! The show will take place in the VPA, and space is limited, so please plan to arrive on time to ensure seating. We look forward to celebrating the students’ hard work and dedication.
Kindergarten Gingerbread Party
On Dec. 11, students will have a fun time making gingerbread houses with their classmates, and parents are welcome to join! The times for each class are:

Ms. Houshmandi & Ms. Rowe - 10:30-11:30
Family Day at lunch
Families of 1st grade are invited to join their students for Family Day at Lunch on December 12! Lunch will be from 11:25-11:45am. A flyer with details was sent home last week.
Field Trip
2nd grade will be going on a field trip Dec. 12 to the San Diego Zoo. Please make sure your child is dressed in appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes according to the weather for a full day of walking and exploring.
